Zaytinya is another Jose Andres restaurant I absolutely adore. I haven’t been in a while and am itching to go back, but my one visit really left a mark on my food brain. They’re Mediterranean small plates and shareables, and, as with all Jose restaurants, have the most interesting combination of spices and are packed with flavor. The interior of the restaurant feels modern and luxurious, and is a great spot to head after a long work day in DC.

You really can’t go wrong with anything on Zaytinya’s menu, and, as per usual, you’re best off going with a group to try everything. My group went heavy on the spreads to start, and we also ordered a lot of their veggies, and I have zero regrets about it.
