One Michelin-starred The Progress serves American fare with an Asian influence. They create unique dishes that pop and surprise with flavor, including ingredients that may make you do some under the table Googling. While their duck is a staple menu item (I unfortunately did not get to try it), they also celebrate vegetables proudly. With a rotating menu based on what’s in season and creative takes like morel mushrooms paired with blueberries, they don’t mess around with their veg.
The restaurant feels modern and upscale- as soon as you walk in, you know you’re in for a luxurious experience. The interior feels sleek and upscale, but has touches here and there that add warmth, like an abundance of greenery. As clear as it is that The Progress is a dining establishment, they remain incredibly welcoming and approachable. I’d recommend heading over for a dinner that makes you put your fork down and say ‘interesting.’
