My Take

Gotta

order:

Lobster Deviled Eggs, Espresso Martini

Vibes:

They have three seating areas, so depends where you sit. In their ‘cellar’ it was dim lit, upscale feel, speakeasy vibe, buzzing

Notes:

We went to the Imperial for the “Spring Fling” Tasting menu, which was only $55 for three courses, including a wine pairing. The restaurant is massive, with three different areas to sit, each with their own vibe. We were in the ‘cellar’ downstairs, which felt almost like a speakeasy situation. it would be a great spot for a date or drinks with your friends.

The food was good- I wouldn’t say it was great. Would I eat there again? Absolutely, but I’d be more likely to return for a happy hour. They have great prices for after work bites and drinks, and the bartenders were friendly and made some interesting concoctions. We were even handed free tequila shots- not quite a go-with for my espresso martini, but hey, definitely made things a little more fun!
