Noosh is modern Mediterranean that serves up traditional favorites with bold flavors and twists. You can expect to see a wide range of dips with pita, flatbreads, kebabs and other tapas-style plates. It may seem basic at first glance, but once you see the intricacies of their dishes, like aleppo chicken flatbread with halloumi, sumac vaggies, and labneh tahini, you can start to see that Noosh’s elevation of traditional dishes.
I tried their chicken kebobs, dips with pita, and a few other shareables, like their brussels sprouts with pistachios and mint. First thing’s first- their pita is incredibly fluffy and doughy. It’s not seasoned on the outside, like some other great pitas I’ve had, but the consistency is top tier. Their pitas and dips are absolutely mandatory when paying a visit to Noosh. I didn’t get the chance to try their flatbreads, but know it’s a signature for them, and they carry their same doughy, fluffy bread philosophy to their flatbreads as well.
As far as restaurant vibes, Noosh is a blend of modern minimalistic and welcoming comfort. The interior feels upscale with cozy lighting and large windows out front. It’s the type of place that would seamlessly cater to many occasions- date night, din with friends, outing with the fam, you name it.
Overall, pay Noosh a visit if you’re looking for some high quality Mediterannean that’s a little bit more exciting than your more traditional SF spots.
