
Hot honey cornbread bread pudding
Ingredients
- day old cornbread you want cornbread that is almost a little stale. Enough to fill an 8×8 pan- suggestion would be make a 9×13 dish, enjoy some, and use the rest for cornbread 🙂
- 2 tbs melted butter
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup honey you can use hot honey or regular
- 4 eggs beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Hot honey and vanilla ice cream for topping
Instructions
- preheat oven to 350 and grease an 8×8 dish.
- Cut cornbread in 1-2 inch pieces and fill baking dish. Pour melted butter evenly over top.
- Whisk together milk, sugar, honey, eggs, and vanilla
- Pour mixture evenly over cornbread and press bread down lightly until fully soaked.
- Bake for 45ish minutes until golden
- Let cool, Top with vanilla ice cream, hot honey, and enjoy
