My Take

Gotta

order:

Tres leches cake, brussels sprouts, miraflores roll

Vibes:

Energetic, loud music, aesthetic decor, great place before going out

Notes:

Inca Social is a BUMPING Peruvian restaurant with a large menu and section for Peruvian fusion dishes, like unique sushi rolls with passion fruit sauce. I went for a date night, but honestly you’re probably better off going with a group of friends- this is definitely the type of spot for dinner before going out or celebrating a birthday. The interior is pretty loud- both in terms of conversation and music, but it’s an extremely fun atmosphere.

It’s a small plates and shareables spot, so you should go with a group of people and share a lot of dishes. I’d recommend ordering from each section- ceviche, causas, sushi, and some of the more traditional dishes. They have great drinks too, especially their pisco sours (although mine gave me a wee bit of heart burn, so bring tums…). The one thing you simply MUST order is their tres leches cake. It’s the best tres leches cake I’ve had in my life and one of the best desserts I’ve had in the area. I have told so many people about it and still think about it frequently. It’s that good.

My one note- they brought all our tapas at the same time, which is my pet peeve at small plates restaurants. Try to space out your ordering!
