Ingredients
  

  • day old cornbread you want cornbread that is almost a little stale. Enough to fill an 8×8 pan- suggestion would be make a 9×13 dish, enjoy some, and use the rest for cornbread 🙂
  • 2 tbs melted butter
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey you can use hot honey or regular
  • 4 eggs beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Hot honey and vanilla ice cream for topping

Instructions
 

  • preheat oven to 350 and grease an 8×8 dish.
  • Cut cornbread in 1-2 inch pieces and fill baking dish. Pour melted butter evenly over top.
  • Whisk together milk, sugar, honey, eggs, and vanilla
  • Pour mixture evenly over cornbread and press bread down lightly until fully soaked.
  • Bake for 45ish minutes until golden
  • Let cool, Top with vanilla ice cream, hot honey, and enjoy
