Dumpling home is an absolute classic. This no-frills establishment churns out dumplings like a well-oiled machine. You’ll probably notice a lot of people waiting outside if you stroll by on a weekend- they don’t take reservations and this popular Hayes Valley icon draws quite a crowd.

Dumpling home has been on the bib-gourmand list purely for quality of their dumps. That’s what we’re dealing with- so you know just about every dumpling is going to be special. They’re well known for their juicy pork fried dumplings, and they may be the best I’ve ever had. You can’t really go wrong with any of their dumplings, and their ginger noodles are great too. Be careful biting in though- I’ve just about scalded my esophagus many a time here.
