I have to admit, the Rosslyn location of this Italian restaurant is a little odd being housed in an office building. Location aside, the interior of Sfogalina is vibrant and modern, giving off a great lively energy. 

Sfogalina has excellent appetizers and a fantastic assortment of breads. Unfortunately it was the type of restaurant where the appetizers definitely overshadow the main course. My pastas were unmemorable and I remember leaving a little disappointed by everything after the apps. 

If you find yourself in Rosslyn, head over for a glass of wine and some fantastic apps, but that’s about it.
