My Take

Gotta

order:

Spinach and mushroom souffle, scones with spreads

Vibes:

Charming, fancy, vibrant, modern meets antique royalty, lots of natural lighting, view of the water

Notes:

Lady Camelia is the perfect experience for someone looking for a food-themed activity that’s a little outside the ordinary. High tea is a tradition that may seem antiquated, but Lady Camelia puts a modern twist on this leisurely afternoon activity. I went with my mom and grandmother and enjoyed their wide selection of treats and eats, as well as their fancy tea china and view of the water. Something that makes Lady Camelia unique is that they offer full meals in addition to their traditional pastry, tea cake, and scone options, and I must say, their souffles are impressive. They come with a flavored sauce (ex: spinach and mushroom) to pour into the souffle center. Their scones are equally as tasty, but I will say their pastries left me wanting more and could be skipped. Pastries aside, Lady Camelia was a special experience, and will be an easy repeat to celebrate special occasions.
