My Take

Good For: Date Night, Din with friends

Gotta Order: Charred octopus (signature dish!), Spanakopita, whipped hummus

Vibes: Exceptional decor (covered with cherry blossoms hanging from the ceiling when we went), crowded, energetic, vibrant, lively

Notes: We went to Residents at 9:00 PM on a Thursday, and it was incredibly crowded. They have amazing decor, and would be a great place for some -scenic- food pics in daylight. We went for dinner, but Residents seems to also be a hotspot for brunch. They had a great selection of items, and I feel like it’s a sign of a great restaurant when you have such a tough time narrowing down what you’re going to get.

We opted to make a not-so-shareables restaurant into one because there were so many things on the menu we wanted to try (and recommend you do the same). When we asked our waitress for recs, she told us that they recently redid their menu, but the one thing they kept consistent was the grilled octopus- their most popular item. We tried it and can confirm- very good. BUT I think their spanakopita was my favorite- it’s the best one I’ve had to date.
