Gotta Order: Margherita pizza, Caesar Salad

Vibes: Lively, buzzing, fun, crowded

Notes: We went to Il Canale after work on a summer Friday to kick off the weekend and this place was packed. It had such a fun atmosphere, but we had a reservation and still had to wait quite a while.

Il Canale serves traditional Neapolitan style pizzas with the THICK crust- exactly how it should be. I tend to like simpler pizzas when they’re done well, so I loved the margherita pizza. I don’t typically love caesar salads, but their’s was really light and refreshing to balance out the pizza.

We also split a couple bottles of wine, so overall it was the perfect place to eat before heading out for the night (carbo-load before, am I right?).
