Good For:Din with friends, Din with family, Happy Hour
Gotta Order: Pisco Sours, brussels sprouts, crispy fried rice pot (concolon), pork and shrimp crispy wonton, pork shoulder bao bun platter (Char siu platter), Sweetened condensed milk dessert (Suspiro Limena)
Vibes: Crowded, buzzing, lively, fun energy
Notes:
China Chilcano is the perfect fusion of Peruvian and Asian cuisines- everything on the menu has such interesting flavors. This is a lively spot for dinner after work, and is crowded on weekends too. This is another Jose Andres restaurant that’s an absolute hit.
I’d recommend ordering shareables for the table, so everyone can try a little bit of everything, and order off of each category on the menu. Enjoy a pisco sour with one of their many flavoring options, and save room for dessert-their condensed milk classic Peruvian dessert is what made me fall in love with this place.
