My Take

Good For: Din with friends, Din with family, takeout, casual dinner

Gotta Order: Margherita pizza, eggplant and red pepper pizza, brussels sprouts

Vibes: Crowded, energetic but cozy, upbeat, comfortable

Notes:

I grew up on Pupatella as our family’s go to for good pizza, and since then they’ve opened many more locations and become pretty popular. For good reason! I am a Neapolitan pizza enthusiast (snob) and have tried a lot of really highly ranked places. Pupatella is my favorite pizza in the US, and of my entire life has only been topped by a pizza place in Florence. It’s that good.

Their dough is thick and flavorful, but the actual pizza part is also delish, especially if you opt for toppings like eggplant and roasted red peppers, but you really can’t go wrong with a classic margherita. I also love their brussels spouts (tossed with balsamic and apples). Their pizza travels well for takeout too!
